Well--the farm has survived another snow storm and strong winds. As far as we can tell the strawberries are just fine--but Matt spent most of yesterday making sure that the covers were still on the strawberries and not in the trees somewhere.

The greenhouse tomatoes are growing and looking great. We now have blooms on the tomato plants and my job of pollinating each bloom is beginning.

We are looking forward to some dryer and warmer weather, so the land will dry out.

Back to work--more later.

Happy New Year from the Rudd Farm. Our farm stand is now closed for the winter. We have covered our strawberries with covers for the winter months. We will soon be planting our greenhouse tomato plants in their final bags, so hopefully by the first of April we will have vine ripe tomatoes. We hope to have berries by the end of April--but to soon to tell. Look forward to seeing all our customers in the spring.
