| Along with Matt, his older brother, Ken and his wife, Ashley are bringing in the fourth generation. Ken who is a full time landscaper, and his wife Ashley, a pre-school teacher, help out on the farm as much as possible. Ken and Ashley have two children, Madison and Ryan. Even the fifth generation helps out on Saturdays. Other family members and close friends also help out during the very busy strawberry season. Farmer Kenneth’s dad Pawpaw Phil helps get people to a good picking spot in the field, and Aunt Kathy, works on Fridays and Saturdays wherever she’s needed. Joan’s mother, Mammaw Ruby, makes sure everyone has something to eat. |
